4-axle semi-trailer for operation with 2- and 3-axle tractors

Types of transported containers:

• 1 x 40 feet container with base sockets according to GOST R 53350-2009;
• 1 x 40 feet High-cube container with base sockets according to GOST R 53350-2009;
• The semi-trailer is designed for passing weigh-in-motion control as part of a road train with a 4x2 tractor and transporting a container weighing up to 31,000 kg (gross) without exceeding the permissible gross vehicle weight or axle loads;

Frame:

• Made from two longitudinal I-section beams connected by cross members made of high-carbon low-alloy steel. The frame is of reinforced design and resistant to twisting under challenging road and climatic conditions.
• Reinforced support plate with a 2-inch fifth wheel kingpin according to ECE Regulation No. 55 and positioned per ISO 1726;
• Additional kingpin position for operation with a three-axle tractor;
• Landing gear GOS (Turkey) with a capacity of 25 tons (2x 12.5), operated from the right side in the direction of travel;
• Twist locks for container securing of FOX/ ESNET/ equivalent type;
• Spare wheel carrier for two spare wheels, removable design – bolted attachment to the frame, installed between the first and second axles. Spare wheel holders – 2 pcs.
• Side underrun protection, made of anodized aluminum according to GOST R 41.73-99 (ECE Regulation No. 73) with lift/lower capability, featuring BRAVER advertising on both sides;
• Rear underrun protection made of aluminum according to ECE Regulation No. 58.01, with a mudguard featuring BRAVER advertising;
• License plate bracket with frame for registration plate;
• Rear vertical rubber bumpers – 2 pcs.

Chassis:

• Four-axle bogie FOX Intra Disc, reinforced design with a round crossbeam section thickness of 148x14 mm, resistant to twisting in challenging road conditions;
• Permissible load per axle: 9,000 kg (technically permissible);
• Brake mechanism – disc type;
• Suspension – FOX INTRA reinforced pneumatic, air springs with 350 mm diameter, with lift/lower capability, reinforced shock absorbers (Maysan);
• First axle lift device – forced mechanical lift with manual control from a button installed in the tractor cab (a positive signal is provided to a free PIN in the 15-pole socket);
• With the first axle lifted, movement is permitted ONLY ON A STRAIGHT section of the road;
• Second axle lift device – automatic lift mechanism, triggered when the load on the 3rd and 4th axles reaches 14,000 kg;

Wheels:

• Wheel assembly on Accuride 11.75 x 22.5 ET120 disc – 9 pcs., including 1 spare;
• Tires Cordiant TR-1 size 385/55 R22.5

Braking System:

• Electronic braking system of pneumatic type WABCO EBS 4S/4M, with RSS function – electronic roll stability system. Smartboard information system (monitoring semi-trailer parameters, receiving axle load information);
• ABS sensors installed on the third and fourth axles – 4 pcs.
• Aluminum air reservoirs for pneumatic suspension and braking system – 3 pcs.
• Parking brake system of semi-automatic type with spring brake actuators on the third and fourth axles;
• Diaphragm-type brake chambers;
• Manual control valve for chassis lifting/lowering with pneumatic suspension;
• Pneumatic connection heads (supply and control) per ISO 1728 – 2 pcs.
• ABS socket according to ISO 7638 – without connecting cables to the tractor;

Electrical Equipment:

• Electrical equipment ASPOECK in explosion-proof design with connector insulation, rated voltage 24V;
• Electrical connection – 2 x 7 (7-pole connectors, 2 pcs.) and 1 x 15 (15-pole connector, 1 pc.) - without connecting cables to the tractor;
• Front side marker lights, white – 2 pcs.
• Side marker lights, orange – 8 pcs.

• Made of steel grade 09G2S with wall thickness 3 mm and floor thickness 4 mm;
• Reinforced horizontally with bent channel 170x70x;
• Binding channel, vertical stiffeners with 750 mm spacing between posts – 80x80x4;
• Top pipe 120x80x4;
• Swing gates, each on four hinges with grease nipples, M8;

Surface preparation for painting:

• Shot blasting of the frame and metal parts of the unit according to GOST R ISO 8501-1-2014;

Painting:

• The unit is treated with an anti-corrosion zinc-containing primer before applying enamel;
• Painting of the chassis, beams, mounting elements - with a two-component epoxy-polyurethane system used for painting products in the automotive industry;
• Color of chassis, beams, mounting elements – grey (RAL 7024);
• Side underrun protection – anodized aluminum profile, silver color (unpainted) with "Braver" advertising
• Rear underrun protection – aluminum (unpainted) – silver color;
• Wheel discs – silver color.
